COUNSELLOR IN TRAINING
PLACEMENTS

Working with us as a Counsellor in Training provides you with the opportunity to work within an established Counselling Service with other professionals and enables you to build your experience and counselling hours towards accreditation.

We provide affordable and accessible counselling services which is supported by our team of Qualified Counsellors and Counsellors in Training.

If you can offer a minimum of 2 hours per week to work with our clients, we would love to hear from you.

You will be on a minimum of a Diploma in Counselling (preferably Level 4) and be a member of a Professional counselling body such as the BACP or NCS.

We offer placements for Counsellors in Training to work online / telephone

We have some face to face placements available in the following areas;

- Evesham

- Leamington Spa

- Redditch

- Solihull

- Stratford upon Avon

- Tewkesbury

You will need to have a Fitness to Practice in place (have been signed off by your course tutor as ready to start placement) to apply for a placement with ourselves.

If you have selected Child Counselling - Please confirm that you are either attending a child counselling course or have already attended training specifically for child counselling.

Although we have a small amount of centres open across the West Midlands for face-to-face hours, the main preference of our referrals is via online/telephone alternatives. Please confirm if your course requires F2F hours and if so that you have already obtained these or have a F2F placement to obtain these required hours.

Do you have access to your own laptop/desktop/PC?

Do you have any other commitments outside of the placement which may impact your availability?

Do you have another placement or will you be looking for a secondary placement in addition to TCS?
