What age / client base are you interested in working with?

As a Qualified Counsellor you will be working with a wide range of clients presenting with a range of presenting issues, also working with clients at risk. However, are there any clients / presenting issues you feel unable to work with?

To support our affordable and accessible service, our pay rate for Qualified Counsellors is £20 per session. What interests you in delivering affordable counselling services and how does this fit in with your career / work plans moving in the future?

We are looking for excellent communicators and Counsellors to join the team. How would you describe your communication and teamworking skills?

With the majority of our sessions via online methods (Google Meet / Skype) and a requirement to use our online data processing systems – Can you tell us what’s been your biggest challenge with technology?

Do you have a current Supervisor in place, or do you have plans in place to source a suitable supervisor? - (If yes) Name of Supervisor?

Interviewer 1 Questions

Do you have any other commitments / Counselling roles or other employment. How will this impact / compromise your availability to work for Therapy Centre Services, providing a minimum of 6 hours per week for our service?

Do you have any commitments that may impact your ability to respond to text messages or emails from us in an efficient manner? Also, we require all Counsellors to attend regular team meetings, can you confirm that you will be able to attend any meetings as required by the service.

Due to the training involved, and to ensure we are providing clients with a Counsellor who can provide them with open-ended therapy we are only considering applicants who can commit to a minimum of 12 months with our service. Can you confirm you are able to meet this requirement.

What’s the most recent CPD you have completed, why did you choose this subject and how has this helped you in your Counselling journey?

What days / times are you available to provide Counselling for our Service, and do you have any flexibility if this was required by your clients to offer other availability as required?
