  • Temperature Control: Ensure the workplace is properly ventilated and consider adjustable temperature settings to alleviate discomfort from hot flashes. Also consider desk position, could this be near a window for more access to cool air when needed, or provide desk fans.

  • Access to Healthcare Benefits: Provide comprehensive healthcare benefits that cover menopause-related treatments, medications, and consultations with healthcare professionals.

  • Wellness Programs: Implement wellness initiatives that promote physical and mental well-being, such as mindfulness sessions, yoga classes, or access to counselling services.

  • Supportive Policies: Develop policies that address menopause-related challenges, such as extended breaks for managing symptoms, access to private spaces for rest, and support for career development during this phase.

  • Manager Training: Provide training for managers to recognise and support employees experiencing menopause symptoms, including effective communication strategies and accommodations.
